Studio Aeroplane is an interdisciplinary design studio founded with a vision to foster creativity, craftsmanship, and a lifelong learning environment for our team, collaborators, and clients. About People

Orn Rajsirisongsri
Co-Founder & Designer
Orn co-founded Studio Aeroplane in 2009. Before co-founding Studio Aeroplane, Orn worked as an interior architect at Shamir Shah Design, designing and managing high-end residential and hospitality projects. She later joined Skidmore, Owings & Merrill’s New York office as a senior hospitality and furniture designer.
Her educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Economics from The Ohio State University and a master's degree in Interior Design from Pratt Institute in New York. Additionally, she completed the Scandinavian Furniture Design Program at Danmarks Designskole in Copenhagen.
Alongside her role at Studio Aeroplane, Orn has been a guest critic and speaker at design institutions in Thailand and abroad, including King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi and Paris College of Art. Her designs have earned multiple accolades, including the Design Excellence Award from Thailand’s Department of International Trade Promotion and the Good Design Award from the Japan Institute of Design Promotion.

Saranont Limpananont
Co-Founder & Designer
Saranont co-founded Studio Aeroplane in 2009. Before co-founding Studio Aeroplane, Saranont worked on interactive innovation projects at Smart Design. He later joined Antenna Design New York as a concept/user experience designer, where he worked on designing new paradigms and developing new conceptual groundworks for future products and environments.
His educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and a master's degree in Interaction Design/New Media Technology at ITP, Tisch School of the Arts, New York University.
In addition to his design work at Studio Aeroplane, Saranont engages with mathematics, art, and systemic design through his deep interest, exploring and developing their connections across both his professional and independent work. He has also been a guest lecturer at several universities in Thailand, teaching topics ranging from interaction design and systemic design to creative thinking. As a creative and design strategist, he consults for various governmental and public-sector organizations in Thailand while also developing artworks that examine human interactions with technology and nature, including human-human interactions.
